Nice to get these early models in such nice condition. Most of this collection was never displayed & any 'flaws' that you may see here or there are from the effects of time ! Some models remain timeless, others show their age.
How is your collection aging ? have you looked at your models lately ? Has anything fallen off ?- glue ages y'know & things fall off ! You should go look at your models now- bring some glue with you ...and a pair of tweezers !! You might need them....
We find that modern models are not as robust as the early models, from when the hobby began. Things are always falling off of modern models...especially those pesky antennas ! The early models were built like tanks & many of them survive in great shape [ as long as you take care of them !]. Some modern models fall apart as soon as you open the box ! Ho-hum !
