A super model in impeccable condition. It actually made me stop & look ! 25 years old & still going strong- the only quibble being a small split on one corner of the inner plastic case. It must be alright if the only fault that we can find is a small split on the inner plastic case !! Whoopee!!
Gemini Jets was formed in 1998 & began issuing models in 1999. They remain a powerhouse in the diecast model field, top dog in the North American market. This B777 is a very early model in top condition, better constructed than many 1/400 scale models [ from various brands ] that we see today ! We almost never see these old models fall apart- they were certainly using a better glue back then than they are now !! At this stage, Gemini was not installing antennas on their models [ nobody was ]- it would take about a decade for those things to appear & I think it may have been Phoenix who began that movement. Correct me if I am wrong!
GJBAW024 is the 24th model aircraft manufactured by Gemini- thus, one of their earliest pieces ! This was Gemini's FIRST B777 model !! Most of their earliest issues were B747's.
