A surprisingly heavy little model.

First of ten editions of this model, all with various differences & improvements. This looks to be a first edition, using the information supplied by DIMA DIECAST as a reference. Thanks Mr. Waffle !

Herpa began this series of 1:500 scale models in 1992 and launched our hobby. They reigned supreme for many years until DRAGON & GEMINI spoiled their party by launching 1:400 scale models. 

Own a little piece of diecast history. Models like this launched our hobby !
