Avro Shackleton: Owner's Workshop Manual HC
Avro Shackleton: 1949-1991 (all marks) Owner's Workshop Manual HC
With a design lineage that stretches back to the legendary Avro Lancaster, the Avro Shackleton has a distinguished parentage. It first entered service with the RAF in 1951 serving for 40 years in many roles, with the last flying examples being withdrawn from service in 1991. Centrepiece of this manual is the Shackleton Preservation Trust's Shackleton MR2, WR963, under restoration in Coventry. As well as close-up looks at the Shack inside and out, Keith Wilson includes first-hand accounts of flying and servicing the 'Growler', supported overall by a wealth of previously unpublished photographs
Published September 2015, 173 pages, black & white and colour photographs and illustrations, Hardcover. 8.5" x 11"
