SUPER ETENDARD 1:72
A straightforward little plastic kit that can be built by modelers of every skill level. The model was issued by little known Japanese company SUNNY TRI-S not long after an Argentinian Super Etendard struck the HMS Sheffield with an Exocet missile during the Falklands War. A little bit of history to flavor your model- decals are included for this aircraft* and a French machine too. A decent little package for what works out to be pocket money!
*Aircraft 3-A-202, 2nd Escuadrilla de Caza ( 2nd Navy fighter bomber squadron) which participated on the attack on the British fleet on May 4,1982. During this attack HMS Sheffield was heavy damaged. As a result of this damage it sunk on May 10,1982.
SUNNY TRI-S did not issue too many models & most of their molds appear to have ended up in the ACADEMY catalog.
