PZL P.11c with basic etch parts 1:48
Now classic kit of the Polish Spitfire ! This version is based on the 'Expert Set' issued a few months ago which had an large sheet of photo-etch parts, paint masks & decals for four aircraft. This new edition gives you a small fret of etch parts for the most important details, no masks & decals for two aircraft. It looks like all the plastic parts remain the same as in the 'Expert set'.
This kit is based upon research accomplished during the recent strip-down, restoration & rebuild of the sole surviving PZP P11c fighter in existence, at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow. This aircraft was taken as a war-prize by the nazis during WW2 & recovered by Poland after the war. Other war-prize aircraft were not so lucky- a PZL P37 Los was destroyed during an allied air raid & none survive.
An excellent kit of a very important aircraft. Polish pilots gained combat experience & made their first kills with these aircraft, skills later used with Hurricanes & Spitfires during the Battle of Britain.
