Polikarpov I-16 Type 17 1:32
Since Revell Germany issued their 1/72 scale I-16 in 1964, I don't think there has been a moment where this aircraft has not been available in kit form from one manufacturer or another. Just about every major brand has tried their hand at kitting one of these things & who can blame them; this crate has a lot of character & was used all over the world, from Russia to China & even Finland, thus the variety of colour schemes & markings applied to it is bewildering !
A fantastic kit of a very important aircraft, which for a brief time in the mid-1930's, was the most advanced fighter plane in the sky !
