The LZ41 made its first flight on June 7, 1915, and was retired less than 2 years later in April 1917. It performed 31 recon-flight missions and 12 raids over England throughout its brief service life, dropping 15.543 kg of ordnance.
In addition to making the first military use of fighter aircraft, World War I saw many other aerial innovations — including the arming of zeppelins, including the LZ41 from Germany.
This 1:700 scale resin display model replicates LZ41 complete with its signature paint scheme and metal gondolas. It even comes ready to display on its own presentation stand, with an articulated mount. Model measures approximately 8 3/4" (22.2 cm.) longÂ
