Probably as 'entry-level' as an AMODEL model can get ! All plastic kit, but in the short run style, which means that you have to test fit everything before gluing & learn how to use putty properly. Great subject & worth the effort!
Legendary all plastic kit first issued in 1978 as the CL-215 [the CL-415 version appeared in 1998]. A very nice kit but very hard to get new due to Heller's current poor distribution.
All resin & photo-etch kit with vacuform canopies, for the dedicated & experienced modeler. Decals for four civilian operators, plus four USMC machines [ unmanned versions were used in the war in Afghanistan ]. Fascinating!
Awesome subject ! This is a short run style plastic model kit for the experienced modeler. Not for the slap-together crowd ! Do not wait for Tamiya to make you one of these ! Stop whining & start gluing already !!! Blimey...

Resin wheel set for the old HOBBYCRAFT kit. Hobbycraft issued a re-tooled version of their kit in 2003 as HC1659. This set is specifically made for HC1659 only !!! [However, it looks like this set may work on the earlier issues...]
Short run style plastic model kit for experienced modelers. Photo-etch, masks & decals for two options included. Neat model requiring a bit more TLC than the standard plastic model. Great subject !
X-20AL Thinner for Tamiya acrylic paints. This is a medium size bottle of this product, bigger than the standard 10ml bottle. Tamiya calls this item a 'solvent' in some of their own product listings [ but we like to call it a thinner !]
Full resin kit for the dedicated fanatic. Looks simple, yet resin has it's idiosyncrasies which need to be mastered ! Small sheet of photo-etch, vac canopy & decals are included.
