ID MODELS T2C Buckeye 1/32 VACUFORM KIT with resin & white metal parts

No decals are included with this kit.

FOR THE EXPERIENCED MODELER !!! Scratch building skills are a MUST !!!

You will have to supply certain components from scratch, or from other kits.

This is NORMAL for this type of kit.

Basic vacuform kit with resin, white metal & injection molded parts,

Canopy is also vacuform and is going yellow.

No instructions, plans only [ but the original owner threw in a set of instructions from the 1/72 MATCHBOX kit, for reference ]. Again, there are no decals with this kit.

The vacuform sheet has been partly separated, but this may have been done so by the

manufacturer for shipping. These kits were not generally stocked by brick & mortar stores

and had to be mail ordered from the manufacturer. Take note of the many ads for such

products in modelling magazines of the era.

The kit dates back to the 1980's & the resin is very, very early home made stuff. At least it is clean, unlike some of the aftermarket resin that hit the store shelves back in the day that were full of bubbles !!! Note that the resin wheels are molded in halves- this is a blessing as it is a nightmare to try to assemble wheels that have been vacuformed in halves !!!! ! The tail hook is just the hook itself, you have to supply the rod. The white metal parts are quite nice, too bad that there are only two of them !

For the serious modelist- all others keep away !!!
