The Huey, later redesignated UH-1, was a mainstay during America’s presence in Vietnam, and 11 Huey crewmen earned the Medal of Honor. Through carefully researched
archival documents and photographs, the history of this iconic helicopter, and the men who flew it, is told in this illustrated volume.

Started in 2017, The Legends of Warfare series by Schiffer Publishing covers Aviation, Naval and Ground forces including aircraft of all types in a beautiful 9” x 9” hardcover format. Predominantly covering military aircraft from all eras, more volumes are being added each season. Each book is a concise history of a particular type of aircraft, well illustrated with over 100 black and white and colour photographs, and black & white line drawings and plans. Page counts vary depending on the aircraft, and some types are covered two volumes.
