F18E Super Hornet 1:32 New Tool 2019
246 all plastic parts make up into one big model ! This issue appears to be aimed at the modeler who does not need every inspection hatch opened. Kinda looks like a 1/48 scale kit pantographed to 1/32 scale. Lots of really big parts, not really kid friendly, & requiring some effort to put together. Even Revell tells you in their instructions to test fit everything before slopping on the glue. Trimming & sanding may be required at some stages of construction. And thus, this kit is not recommended for the 'weekend warrior', rather somebody who has got a few notches on his/her belt. A big problem for model kits this size is - are the landing gear that come with the kit STRONG enough to hold the weight of all that plastic ? SCALE AIRCRAFT CONVERSIONS make two different sets of gear for the ACADEMY F18C & F18D, maybe they will take a stab at this kit too. At the very least, put some support under the belly of this beast to take the weight off the plastic gear, or you may be sorry.........

This kit is not scary, you just need to be prepared to tackle it !
