Eurofighter Typhoon 'Ghost Tiger' 1:72
This kit is the new tool from 2016 and should pose you no problems to build. It is a fine all plastic kit and suitable for most modelers. The markings however provide the challenge, with large sheets of decal requiring to be carefully placed over specific areas of airframe. The result will be stunning, but so will your pain if you screw up! I recommend that you buy two kits in case you make a boo-boo. Don't say I didn't warn you !
The markings represent a real aircraft that was used by the German Air Force at a NATO Tiger Meet in 2018, in Poland. I'm not sure if I like the idea of German aircraft flying over Poland, but then, they appear to be our friends now....[ don't mention the war!-Basil Fawlty]
The following information was taken freely from the interweb:
"The Bavarian Tigers were founded on March 18, 2013, by the 741 and 742 Squadrons of the German Air Force’s Jagdgeschwader 74 (Fighter Wing 74) in Neuburg. They took over the Tiger Spirit from the disbanded 321 Squadron / Jagdbombergeschwader 32. The Bavarian Tigers will join the other Tiger Squadrons in the exercise NATO Tiger Meet 2018 at Poznan-Krzesiny AB, Poland, from Mon 14 May to Fri 25 May."
So there.
