2004 issue, discontinued. Only 200 copies were made. Mint model from a collection in almost new box. First of a nice series of models in 1:250 scale with working gear- it is our recommendation that you leave the gear alone as they are easy to break !!

Remember kids- 1:250 scale is SMALLER than 1:200 scale !
This series of models was unique in that every model had working landing gear. Gemini was not the first to do this- long time collectors will remember the Aero-Mini line from japan some twenty years+ earlier. You could fold the gear up & close the gear doors, then open them again if desired. Unfortunately the models did not come with a stand, do not even have holes for a stand, thus posing the model 'in flight' would be a challenge.
This series of models seems to pre-date the Gemini 1:200 scale range of models. Gemini may have tested the waters with this scale before formally launching their own 1:200 scale series. The series ended around 2010 after some four dozen models were made.
The gear can be fiddly and easy to break. I am sure one reason for ending this series was the constant complaining from collectors who had broken their gears and were looking for help. There is no help guys- once the gear is broken it stays broken !
This model is mint & looks great with it's gears deployed. I have not played with the gear for fear of breaking it ! This gear is easy to break & I suggest you leave it alone ! Please understand that we can accept no returns if you break this gear ! If you choose to fiddle with it, the choice and consequences are yours. Thansk you for understanding !
