2017 issue, discontinued. Only 120 pieces were made. Mint model from a collection in almost new box [light wear]. This model was not issued with a stand, nor is there a hole in the belly for a stand. The stands [cradles] were sold seperately.
The stands that were made for these models were sold seperately & held the model by the wing box. There is no hole in the belly for a modern stand with this model.
The metal finish has gone cloudy from long storage in it's box. This is a common problem for models with natural metal finishes that are stored for a long time in their boxes, especially in the presence of those danged plastic sheets that the manufacturers use to protect the paint from rubbing during shipping. These models benefit from being displayed & apparently need air circulation in order to stay 'fresh'. The jury is still out on that last comment ! Display your models folks, as they were intended.
