DC10-10 United N1837U 'Battleship' 1:400**Discontinued**
One of two versions of this model- the other was N1856U.
Not a rare model by any means, but it is sure nice to get one in virtually 'factory-fresh' condition !
The plastic cases that hold these models were not made with archival material & many of them go yellow or gold with age [I have seen some turning brittle], but this case remains as good as new. I can see a market forming for replacement plastic cases in the future, to replace original cases that have fragmented due to age. Everything ages folks......but you can prolong the life of your models by storing them carefully. Keep them away from heat & humidity for a start. I have just bought a massive collection of 1/400 models, but these were stored in a hot, humid environment & many plastic cases are absolutely gold !! You will see some of these models appearing on our website shortly.
