Remember kids- this model is 1:500 scale, it is smaller than 1:400 scale. This is the scale that Herpa likes!
We still get people very confused by scale-
" Do you have any bigger 1:500 scale 747's???"
"No, Ma'am- this is as big as they get!"
"Well, that's just silly !"
Take note that the inner main gear was intentionally issued loose, so that when you place the model on a flat surface the wheels will align themselves properly on that surface and not wobble around like a silly thing! This is not a defect ! That is how it was made.
