BANDAI A6M5 Zero Type 52 "Zeke" 1:24**Discontinued**USED
Complete plastic kit with vinyl tires [ in nice shape !]. The dorsal antenna has cleanly broken off but can be re-attached. I believe this to be the first edition [but stand to be corrected!] as the instructions conform to the download on Scalemates. The box number '4258-1300' can not be found anywhere on Scalemates ! The decals are well preserved, but keep in mind that they are over 50 years old & may not function properly when used.Â
The instructions & decals would have you believe that three aircraft can be built from this package, but only one [30-1151 on the box top] is documented. Obviously, this requires some research- but I will say that TECHMOD produces two nice decal sheets for the A6M2 in 1/24 and may supply better detail.
This kit was part of a collection of kits I bought from an an older modeler, all issued from the late 1960's through late 1970's. No modern kits here at all !
