Phoenix Models
One of the most popular brands of diecast airliner models on the market today is the Chinese made Phoenix Models. It is believed that Phoenix rose from the ashes of the old Tucano Line of models. Phoenix Models are highly detailed tampo printed diecast models with metal landing gear and rolling tires, and most 1:400 scale models have antenna, a feature not shared by all 1:400 manufacturers. Some aircraft types produced by Phoenix are considered by some to be the best available on the market, such as the Boeing 777. Phoenix models are small production run and limited edition and are produced in 1:200 and 1:400 scales (previously also produced in 1:250 and 1:300 scales).
