B707-300 Sudan ST-AFB [polished] 1:400**Collection sale

The fuselage is polished metal and has taken on a 'cloudy' appearance. This is due to the model being encased in plastic for two decades ! This can not be buffed out, do not even try! Metal finishes react to their environments and storing them in plastic does them no good. Talk to a veteran coin or medal collector about 'plastic poisoning' & get an education. You are not doing these models any favours by storing them in plastic! Put them on display why don'tcha & enjoy them ! Painted surfaces do not age this way [unless they are stored in very hot & humid conditions]. Take care of your models, folks !!
