One of the modeling world's most anticipated issues of 2020 ! Even your Grandmother knows that this thing is coming! Clear your work bench & prepare for the arrival of one of the kits of the year! This will be a behemoth ! Come down to the store & check out the Corgi Vulcan in 1:72 [ a Diecast model ] if you're not aware of how large this guy is ! If this is not big enough for you, you can attempt to track down one of the AEROCLUB Vulcans in 1:48 scale*. Yes, Aeroclub issued a 1:48 scale Vulcan circa 1998. It was $330.00 Canadian dollary-doos back then, a king's ransom for a model kit & we only had a couple of them. They were HUGE, but obviously not to the level of moulded detail that you are about to get from AIRFIX ! Should we expect Airfix to make this guy in 1:48 scale ??? I say YES!...because we have lots of space !!!! Bring it ON !!!

AEROCLUB ceased operations many years ago. A terrible blow to the modeling world as he was a MASTER !!! SCALEMATES lists most of the AEROCLUB line but cannot provide details on any of the issues. It may be that AEROCLUB no longer wishes to be associated with the modeling world. Who knows.....

* Be advised that The AEROCLUB Vulcan was a VACFORM multi-media kit with plastic, resin[?] & white metal parts. There is one on ebay right now with an opening bid of $889.00 USD.  So far, there are no bids, nor do I expect there to be any bids at this starting price ! Yikes !!!
