There are those who will scoff at these old kits and call them antiques, but the true space fan will jump at the opportunity to work on one of these little beauties and cherish every moment. This kit has been issued only three times since 1958, the molds having been discovered in the HOBBICO archives after their bankruptcy last year & made available to the discerning space fan one more time. I do not believe that Atlantis will make these available for ever, I have a feeling that the production run is very small, thus if you are thinking of getting one, do it while it is still available at retail, not at some ebay seller's get-rich-quick fantasy price !
A simple yet effective kit that will bring you back to the days of your youth & the heady days of the space race between east & west! For those of you born after 1969...oh, well, better luck next time !Â
