This is a classic kit from the 1950's, intended to be built by kids 'back in the day' & will not have the modern-day detailing that we have come to expect from current manufacturers. This was a popular kit & was issued many times in different liveries over the years, finally fading away in the 1980's. Original issues are very hard to find & we have only had about a dozen examples over the last 25 years. They are valued by serious collectors and nice copies do not take long to find new homes. There are plenty of reviews online from talented modelers showing you what can be done with this kit with the proper motivation. It is a time capsule and in the right hands, will come to life.

The last mass-market issue of this kit by REVELL was in 2000, then it was put to rest. ATLANTIS has re-discovered the mold stored away in the vast holdings of deceased distributor HOBBICO & has put it on our shelves once again. ATLANTIS production runs are very small & will not last long. With time, this kit will probably be selling online at the same price levels as original issues from the 1970's or 1980's. If you want one of these guys, buy it now, at retail, before the ebay vultures sink their claws into you.
