A380-800 British Airways 1:144
First issued in 2002, the A380 mould has been issued several times in various airline liveries. This is an exceptional kit, all plastic, 163 parts- building up to a total length of just over 50cm, & a wingspan over 55cm ! Obviously, kids will need a hand with the large fuselage & wing parts; to a kid, it is like handling a large plastic carp ! They will need help putting the fuselage halves together & attaching the wings. This kit is way bigger than the 1/200 scale diecast models that we sell-you may end up using it as a coffee table when you're done ! The real aircraft will be retiring from airline service around 2022, but I'm sure we will see a few more issues of the model kit yet. Revell has already announced another Emirates issue with wildlife painted on the fuselage. We will have it in stock as soon as COVID lets us.Â
