Vintage, unused plastic snap model from a collection, circa late 1980's- discontinued. Not a rare model, but hard to find in this condition. Most of the copies that we have seen are well used, aged & missing their boxes.

Plastic snap models from this era were produced in vast numbers but the attrition rate was high. They are frequently found in various states of destruction & many of them are turning yellow from age and the effects of sunlight. Of course, most are missing their boxes. It is nice to find one unused & in it's original box. I personally believe that the box for this model is worth as much as the model itself ! Nice stuff !

Take care with assembly [if you choose to assemble your model]. The first thing to break with these models is the stand. The distributor of these models never had a parts service & strictly refused to supply anybody with replacement stands. This model is about 35 years old, so replacement parts are non-existent for it in any case !
