Leather Flight Case Large Double Strap with End Pocket by avworld.ca
For many years, even well before I opened the first store, I sold deluxe leather flight cases, hand-made by an 'old world' leather craftsman. Unfortunately, as all good things come to an end, our supplier retired. For several years I worked with new manufacturers, trying to get them to produce our designs to our exacting specifications and standards. I'm happy to say that we now have top-quality leather flight cases that we can proudly market as our own, and I can truthfully say are of even better quality. We even offer a 10 year warranty*.
These bags are made in Canada, and constructed from heavy-gauge top-grain cowhide. They're stitched with quality nylon thread, entirely with lock-stitch machines, so that broken stitches will not unravel. They have black hard plastic panels laminated with a thick top-grain cowhide, to eliminate the de-laminating we saw with bags constructed with cardboard on leather. They should last for many years, and are better value than inexpensive nylon bags, which generally have very short lives.
This large-size bag has outside dimensions of 8 in. wide, 18 in. long, and 13 in. high. It has double-strap handles, and a double flap top, with combination locks. It's fully lined, with one divider. There's also a handy separate pocket on one end.
The cost includes gold-stamping of one line of name and/or initials (please note that we cannot accept return of personalized bags, except for manufacturer's defects). Please ensure you print exactly what you would like stamped on the bag, in the order remarks section.
* Warranty applies to manufacturing and design defects, but not to premature wear caused by rough or inappropriate treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: If you carry your bag behind a roll-aboard type suitcase, and the carrying strap is too long, the flight bag can drag on the ground. Tarmac, cement and even the ground itself are tougher than leather, and the corners and bottom strap areas can wear through. This damage is not covered under warrenty, and can be quite expensive to repair. If the problem is not rectified, the wear will just re-occur. You can solve this problem by purchasing the inexpensive Add-A-Bag carrying strap (see related items). You can shorten the strap to the point that the bag will not drag. You'll save yourself aggrevation and $$$.
